Went to Cyprus Lake yesterday and hiked from overhanging cliff to stormhaven. Stormhaven is a camp site with very little access to amenities. There are no campfires, you pack out what you pack in and because of the bears your gear is stored on 15 ft tall bear poles. Unfortunately the stormhaven photos are on my other camera.

Greetings to everyone
I had a great time in Tobermory seeing old faces and went back to old places and some new spots as well. Life in Little Tub Harbour is still the same; the food was always the best, the shops have new stuff and the Sweet Shop and more candy to buy. I’ve posted pics of my trip on facebook, I’ll work on posting pics here on my blog as well (for those who don’t have a facebook account)

I leave for Tobermory tomorrow morning; away from work, internet and this blog. I’m looking forward to this as it helps me unwind and just have fun. Once in a while we need to get away from life and stop and smell the roses.
